Terms of Service

1. What this service does

aimand.click (“the Service”) monitors publicly available information about Patreon membership tiers you choose to watch, and sends you an email when a tier that was full appears to have space available.

The Service is a notification tool. It does not join tiers on your behalf, does not hold or spend your money on Patreon, and does not give you any preferential access. Whether you obtain a spot is entirely between you and Patreon.

2. No affiliation with Patreon

aimand.click is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Patreon, and it is not a Patreon product or partner. “Patreon” is a trademark of its respective owner, used here only to describe what the Service monitors. We read only information that Patreon publishes publicly, and we never ask for or use your Patreon login.

3. What we do not promise

Please read this section carefully, because it describes a real and ordinary limitation of the Service rather than boilerplate.

• Openings are brief. In our own measurements, a reopened tier was taken again in roughly eighty seconds. Detection, email delivery, and your own reaction time all consume part of that window.
• We check on an interval, not continuously. An opening that appears and disappears between two checks will not be detected at all.
• We depend on Patreon continuing to publish tier information in a readable form, and on email reaching you. Either can change or fail without notice.

We therefore do not guarantee that you will be notified of any particular opening, that a notification will arrive in time, or that you will obtain a spot. Paid plans buy a shorter checking interval and more watched tiers. They do not buy a guaranteed outcome.

4. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under it and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13 years old.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• The Free plan costs nothing and requires no payment details.
• Pro costs $2.99 per month in US dollars and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.
• You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro access until then.
• If a payment fails, we keep your access active for a short period while the payment is retried. If it continues to fail, the account returns to the Free plan.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not agree, cancel before the change takes effect.

Automatic renewal notice. Pro is an automatically renewing subscription. You will be charged $2.99 each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard, which takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We display these terms next to the upgrade button before you pay, as California law requires.

Refunds. Because the subscription is inexpensive and cancellable at any time, we do not generally offer refunds for periods already served. If something went genuinely wrong on our side, email us and we will deal with it fairly. Nothing here limits any refund right you have under the law where you live.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, or automatically rebroadcast our notifications;
• use the Service to interfere with Patreon or any creator, including attempting to overwhelm, scrape at scale through us, or evade any limit a creator has set;
• access the Service by any means other than the interfaces we provide, or attempt to disrupt it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will refund any unused paid time when we do so for reasons other than abuse.

7. Availability

The Service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or discontinue it; if we discontinue a paid plan we will refund any unused paid time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for any missed membership, missed opportunity, or lost benefit arising from a notification that was late, wrong, or never sent. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing here removes rights you cannot waive.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction.
